Studying indirect translation: a conversation with and between L. Davier, M. Marin-Lacarta and F. Pöchhacker

Focused on key issues in researching indirect translation, this article presents a dialogue with and between three scholars from different branches of Translation Studies: news interpreting literary translation. The aim is to address fundamental questions concerning the history translation studies, methodological challenges faced by researchers investigating practice, impact English as lingua franca recent advancements machine quality future translations. This intra-disciplinary exchange allows us identify unique perspectives potential blind spots approaches within specific Studies. At same time, sheds light various overlaps complementarities these approaches. We hope that insights gained will not only deepen our understanding field practice research but also foster opportunities for collaborations.
